Fargo

Most people relate Fargo to the eponymous 1996 Coen Brothers movie starring Oscar-winner Frances McDormand and William H. Macy. Fargo, North Dakota is a modern city of 90,000 on the Red River in the southeast corner of North Dakota. Neighboring Moorhead, Minnesota is across the river from Fargo and the area is generally referred to as Fargo-Moorhead.

By plane
Fargo's Hector International Airport is served by Northwest, United and Continental with multiple daily flights to Minneapolis, Denver and Chicago.
By train
Amtrak serves the city with its Empire Builder line, with one train east and one train west every day.
By bus
Greyhound (http://www.greyhound.com/) and Jefferson Lines (http://www.jeffersonlines.com/) serve Fargo. The bus station is at 402 Northern Pacific Ave, phone 701-293-1222.
By car
Fargo is located at the intersection of I-29 and I-94. It is about 3 hours WNW of Minneapolis, MN on I-94.
Get around
Bus transportation is available to most parts of the city. Parking is plentiful, even on the main thoroughfares in downtown areas.
