Understand
Eindhoven is a post industrial city of about 200 inhabitants. Its city center was bombed in the Second World War and during reconstruction, functionality was far more important then architectural quality or nice city planning.
There are many knowledge intensive companies. one of the 3 main Dutch technical universities is in Eindhoven: Technical University Eindhoven Fontys is a very large higher professional education institute. It is larger then TUE.
Beware of the zero tolerance policy activity. They act as if they have daily targets for fines for parking your car or bicycle in wrong places and cycling in the city center is also not allowed.
Eindhoven is home to PSV, one of the largest Dutch soccer clubs.
